About the Mid-Jersey Heat


Welcome to the Mid-Jersey Heat Youth Basketball Organization. The Mid Jersey Heat Basketball
program (MJHB) is an established non-profit youth organization staffed entirely by volunteers.

 

We have been existence since 2002. MJH is an AAU affiliated organization for girls and boys in the central Jersey shore area of Ocean County, New Jersey. At this time, in 2022, our club currently includes 5 teams for boys in grades 7th through 11th and 2 girls teams 3/4th and 9th.

 

The Heat offers a higher level of competition that is not offered in recreational and travel basketball leagues. Our main objective is to provide "pre-, mid and after-season" play for girls and boys who are committed to basketball and who wish to improve their skills.

 

MJHB is staffed entirely by volunteers. The coaches are Monwell Brown-President/Director/ Head Coach 7th and 11th-Red, Anthony Petit-Claire Head Coach 8th, 10th, and 11th-White, Victor Figueroa/8th, 10th, and 11th-White, Brandon Bock/8th, 10th, and 11th-White, and Jamal Bown-Director of Player Development/3/4th girls, Rick Valmon-Vice-President/Girls Director/Head Coach & his Staff, TBD girls teams.

 

MJHB is an all year program. Fall/Winter, spring and summer seasons comprising of league play, clinics, scrimmages, and tournaments.
